quick question about speakers...

Surround sound speakers use more than one audio output from your computer. It uses a few, which your computer probably has. It uses the normal green connector, plus a pink connector and a black connector.

on the sound card i posted earlier it has a black and green but no pink connector. it has blue and orange ones though...
but do i have to get the card since it has all of those connectors on my motherboard?

No, like I said your mobo probably supports surround sound. If you have all the required ports, you don't need to buy an additional sound card.

ahhh sweet. thanks man...
just another question. will the sound card make a difference in terms of sound quality...

Not really...some people claim to notice a difference, but its not a huge deal. If you have the money, sure, go buy one. But it's doesn't make a big, if any, difference.
