Quick clean my ass

hi everyone, i decided to use the quick clean utility on mcafee and it has been over two hours so far and the progress bar still has not moved. i am running it on a high end hp envy 15 with a intel core i7 720 Qm processor and only 99Gb of the 320Gb hard drive used. Whats taking so long? does it normally take this length of time?
 
Not that long. Try ending it, and restarting it and see if it works.

Honestly though, I had McAfee, and I really didn't like it. I would recommend that you switch to something better, because McAfee is a resource hog. How about Microsoft Security Essentials?
 
its not as bad as norton that i first had but its no where near as good as Kaspersky i honestly loved that programme. I might change to AVG and Zone alarm as my firewall.
 
it might have go stuck.. close it and restart it.. if will not close because its not responding open task manager and go into applications and end it then if that gets stuck (unlikly but has happend to me) right click the app and click go to prossess it will show you the .exe and end that
