question about mouse, keyboard and windows 10

One problem im having is the keyboard and mouse just seem to freeze quite
a few times during the day. like now and typing and no characters and have to wait.
move mouse and sometime does not move. Any ideas what or where the problem is.
I did query but have not yet followed on all answers for this problem. tried disabling
Catalyst in startup. same problem. Changed batteries, changed mouse and keyboard.
makes no diff.

its a wireless. thats the way it typed at the top.
had to wait 20 seconds then worked. won't be
long and it will be doing it again. haven't installed any programs yet.
except thunderbird mail client. thats it.
 
I hate to ask the obvious, but have you switched batteries, unpaired/uninstalled and reinstalled the software and drivers, and tried a different USB port for the receiver?
 
as above i mentioned i changed batteries and used a different wireless keyboard and mouse.
I did change usb ports. from back usb to front usb port. wasn't any software i installed.
i'll look into that part. might make a diff Geoff. thanks for the support. thats why i like it here.

Ok, its working so far. yes i went to Logitech and downloaded the drivers for
mouse and keyboard. the default from windows 10 might have been the problem.

Had the same issue with my Logitech mouse when going from Win 7 to 10. Fixed the problem with downloading the Logitech Unifying Software. Issue gone:)
