Yeah they have done it for me in the past as well. Make sure you call though as their online chat is a shadow of what it use to be.

Amazon usually charges more per part which is why I don't use them often for PC parts. Newegg usually treats their customers right and the PSU might have been a special sale anyways.

You don't use newegg because they end their sales?? I dont' really get that. It's not like they new he had 50$ put aside for that psu and purposely jacked the price so he couldn't get it.

+1. That's not a good reason to not use Newegg. Nowhere else have I found such good customer service. You can instantly RMA something for any reason and either get a refund or a replacement without having to jump through hoops. Plus they have great prices.

I buy from amazon if they have the same part at the same price, but, as a college student, I get free 2-day shipping on most everything on amazon.

If I stopped shopping at places when the sale ends and prices went up before or right when I got the money I would probably have no where to shop.
