psu/case shopping

This will be my first time building a computer, which will generally be used as a basic surfer/home use system other than that I'll be playing WoW on it (going for closest as possible to $800). I've read the forums and searched google for tips on buying PSU's, but can't seem to find any genral brand names to look for, or what price range to look for in a PSU/case combo. On newegg I've found several options and I was wondering if I'm headed in the right direction or if I need some help.

Will be running:
athlon64 3200+
1gb corsair value select (upgrade to 2gb in the future)
evga 6800xt
80gb west digi
NEC optics
mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131524 (?) or

Case/PSU:

I don't really know what to look for here other than general rail values. Are any of those okay? Even the sub $100's?

The trouble with case PSUs is they are usually generic garbage. I don't remember the specs on the Dreamer's PSU but it's probably the same as the others. The PSU they have has enough power but it's efficiency and reliability might be questionable.

the dreamer is 28 40 18 from the aspire site
i didnt notice that newegg didnt list it

EDIT: would i be better off spending 50-70 on a power supply, and then the remainder on a case for a $100 sum?

TO your question up there in your last post- Yes. I have almost the same setup (funny how people seem to do that a lot). I have a 500watt from Coolmax (people say that they are bad, but mine is quiet and powerful) and a clear acrylic case. You can get the power supply here- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817159040
and a good case is this one- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119077

Edit: Forgot to answer your mobo question! get the first one, you will be able to SLI someday with that.

Just great, have had no problems after switching over from my old 380watt. Its quiet, cool, just great, and it sucks hot air out of my case, too. Gives me clean power, no undervoltage. Ive had it for two months.

I'm running the Rosewill 600 modular-about two months and loving it.

Originally was going to do thermaltake but got scared off from the review of DOA and diying PSU.

There was a rebate on the Rosewill might still be there.
