Programs being blocked

Okay so I have an issue I have been unable to resolve, I have internet access to Windows live messenger and Skype being blocked, aim works fine however and my internet is working fine, xfire works fine, those are really the only two I am having issues with trillian works fine as well. I have deleted all the Anti-virus programs i had on here as well as turned windows firewall off, yet I can still not find out how to unblock them anyone have an ideas?

So windows live messenger and Skype are blocked from accessing the internet? What messages are you getting? Are you sure you don't have a separate firewall running?
