Program Files

I'm not sure if you log in as an admin over the network, if that would fix it... I know XP can be over-protective with some things as 2000 and lower gave me no problems when I tried to do the same.

I'm not really sure what else to say. I know XP has it set so you can't by default...though it seems the admin should be able to... What are you trying to access? You know many programs won't work if you load them over the network, right?

Log on to the computer that acutally has the files as an administrator. Right-click your Program Files folder, go to properties, sharing tab, and uncheck the box "make this folder private" and check-mark "share this folder on the network" and give it a share name. That should do it.

Just go and enable sharing on each folder you would like to share from the main folder programs files. Easy to do, take 3 seconds each folder...
