What I was asking....Is there any adjustment you can do to make your internet connection speed up? We have dsl however, I was wanting to know if these were any adjustments I could make that would make it go to the max of its ability or is it made to go at its max right out of the box?

What ports are you looking to 'open up?' the only way to open ports is through a router, is this what you are using?
