Problems with Intranet

We have an intranet setup at work. When we first set it up you could type in the server name, Example: "MyServer" and it would take you to the intranet. We had to move our server to another building at the end of last year and the tech guy at the other building changed some settings apparently. Anyway, every since we moved the server back to our building we can only get onto the intranet by typing in the servers local ip address...192.168.1.30
Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it where I can type "MyServer" and it takes me to the intranet?
Thanks.

You need to change the hosts file on your box.
You'll have to google it or look around in the Windows folders, I'd look myself but i'm currently on Linux.

Hope that Helps, Rowan.

Rowan, thanks for the reply, im not sure I understand what "change the hosts file on your box" means though.

Sorry, should of been clearer.
Edit the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file, open with notepad.
Enter the IP address and host name in the style of the current listings.
Hope that helps, Rowan.
