--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a workgroup set up in my home with a couple of XP Pro machines and a Win2K machine. For some reason, when I use one of the XP Pro machines, I can't map a drive to a shared folder on the Win2K machine. It keeps prompting me for a valid username/password. I have verified that the username/pw are correct with appropriate rights on the Win2K machine, but it still does not work. I have checked the Security tab and the Permission dialog from the shared folder itself, and all appear set okay (full control, with all rights set).
In addition, if I attempt to map using credentials of an Administrator account on the Win2K machine, it works just fine. The problem appears when I try mapping using a non-admin account, such as a Power User account.
I have no idea what is happening here. Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks in advance!!!
