problems connecting

Hi everyone,
Im a newb and need some expert advise from whom ever can help.
Here is the situation. I usually connect to my computer in my office from home by using a WAN IP address. Recently I installed xoftspy to my computer at work and have not been able to access my computer from home to my computer at work. I guess my question is, is xoftspy the reason why I can't access my computer and if so what can I do about it without getting rid of my spyware. By the way im running win 2000. Can anyone help me please.

Try looking in the program for options whixh would affect your wan connection. Make sure you did not install a firewall... and if you did, forward the ports.
