I bought a wifi card just because i got a linksys broadband router with the new comp. I put the wifi card in the older comp(has xp pro-(233mhz)really slow but works..) and when i turn on the computer it has no screen. the hard drive works(sounds from it). i even tried putting it in a new slot but that didnt work. i put the card in the new comp to test it out and it worked fine. My first thought was the bios of the old comp. I upgaded it and it still doesn't work with it in it. What should i do could there be anything else or is the computer just too old?

I doubt the WiFi card is compatible with your PCI slots (if thats what your using), since from the sound of it it's a really old computer, and the WiFi card may require at least PCI 2.1+ in order to work, and it may be causing a POST error upon booting up.
