Problem with some hardware.. I think..

Hello.

I have a computer who is making pink screen and a wierd noice in the middle of some games, so ill have to reboot the computer. Its not all the time it does it. It have done it in 3 games now.

The graphic card is new, (From december 09). The computer has been formated, and all drivers are up to date.

Might it be the motherboard?

Sounds like a fairly typical GPU issue. If it persists after a full format and reload, the GPU should probably just be replaced. You say it's only a few months old? See if you may be able to exchange it. Or I know most manufacturers offer a pretty decent warranty (evga is lifetime).
