Nah no cd, baught it last week end. I've already search the website and it appeared on the search for cameras in other countries but when i clicked driver it just returned to the home page of the pop up. VERY frustrating as i want to start editing my video's.

where did you buy it from then, if its any kind of retail store get back to em and ask for the software CD that should have come with it

It doesn't say there shld be a cd with it, it says clearly to buy a new microchip to plug the camera into (trying to make money) and then in small after states that a usb cable will work fine.

other info:

baught in the last week from argos, auto focus, charge couple device, liquid crystal screen, 33x optical zoom, digital 1200x, easy q, colour night shutter, DIS, colour viewfinder, etc...

hang on a minute, you say you are plugging to USB cable into your PC to edit video, to import full wuality video to your computer from your video camera you should use Firewire/IEEE1394/I.Link (all the same) usually you will need to buy a seperate cable for it, but it should be plug and play through firewire, then you can use movie maker to import the video

lee101 is right about the cable, if your camera can interface with firewire (I haven't checked the full specs on it). USB is designed more for smaller bursts of information than for a full stream, or larger stream like yours. That's where firewire comes in handy. :) Anyway, if there isn't firewire, then you do have to have some USB drivers in order to get the files off of the camera.

Here's the search I did, the software (I believe it's Photo Expression 4) is the second result, and the driver is the third result. The links pop-up in a separate window and you have to have an un-zipper program to run the programs, too.
