Problem with Razer Megalodon

I recently brought a Razer Megalodon headset and I am having problems with it. For some reason it keeps crashing my sound drivers and the only way to fix the problem is to restart my pc. For example, I could be watching shows and I get to the end of one episode, I click the next one to start and the drivers crash then I need to restart. I have updated all my drivers and the firmware of the headset but the problem remain. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have some advice on how to fix it.
 
yeah i asked for help but they are useless.. I found a temporary solution to the problem, if I have ventrillo running the sound drivers dont crash but thats not a permanent fix.

Did you try a firmware update or driver update from their website as they seem to have a lot of support.
 
With symptoms like that, I want to get a few things out of the way. These are just preliminary to make sure that it's not a problem that we miss.

Download CCleaner or another Registry-corrector and run some fixes on your registry.
Download MalwareBytes and do a malware scan.
Check your Applications and Processes tabs in the Task Manager to make sure you don't have some sort of audio program running that interferes.
Do you have a dedicated sound card?
 
soundcard is onboard. I cleaned everything out with MalwareBytes and cleaned up all registry erros and driver errors yet the problem persists. I did a firmware update on the headset however that didnt work either. Wondering if I got a dud.
