I just bought the logitech z-5500 system and the x-fi sound card. I set them up and only 4 of the speakers out of 5 are working. I know that the speaker works cause i set it up on a different channel and it worked. So im wondering what i should do. When you play music and put your ear up to it you can hear like a snowy craking sound. ALL HELP IS APPRECHIATED Thanks

That means you pluged the connectors in the sound card wrong. I did the same thing at first. looking at the sound card reading from left to right the connectors should be Orange, Black, Green. I know its hard to know that cause the X-Fi is gold and they don't color code which i didn't like.

True, but they include a sticker set so you can identifiy them.

Not only do they include a sticker but they have things like "Creative speaker connection wizzard" Should never be overly complicated.

They have the sticker set, but I'm too cheap to put a cheesy sticker on my computer lol
