Problem turning on laptop

So, I've got a SONY VAIO TZ netbook, and it's alright, but I've got a problem turning it on. For starters, it won't turn on at all without it being plugged it, and even when I plug it in it doesn't usually turn on. I've got to try and put the plug and in turn it on at the same it, which is really strange. Once it's plugged it everything works like fine though

Someone said there was a faulty connection from the power button to the battery and another person said the battery needed to be replaced. Does anyone know the cause of this because I don't want to spend money on something that won't fix it.

Sorry, I know my explanation is bad but any ideas? c:

Something is wrong with the internal charging system. You could have a bad battery and a bad charging port, probably solder joint broke loose.

Probably gonna have to take it in to be fixed/diagnosed. Do you keep it plugged in all the time?

Probably a switch chip is probably not attachet to the motherboard thightly. You can try to hold it down tight with your hands manually and then try to turn ON the laptop. If laptop turns on every time then that is your problem.

Also be sure that your adapter is working properly.

Cheers!
