I ordered Aol cable a few weeks back and the ntl technician came round yesterday to install the cable. He tested the modem and it came on fine.
I ran the Aol disk and everything was running smoothly. It then went to an online page where you have to enter account information (surname, pin number). It verifies the information fine, but then it comes to a page saying 'There is a problem with the modem you are attempting to use', and says to phone the helpline.
Of course the helpline is useless, I got told to install the drivers that were already installed, so no help there.
Is it a fault on their end, or is the modem I received actually faulty? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling numerous times, to no avail. I looked at the drivers for the modem, and they are dated from 2002, I thought this was odd.
Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
