Problem I need solved

I have 5.1 creative surround sound speakers and subwoffer.

All of a sudden 3 of the 5 stopped working. Now this was the case when I first bought my pc and I called my technician and iunno what on earth he did but he visted a website and downloaded something and all my speakers worked.

Now I have no clue what on earth happened to them but the sound is horrendous and out of those 2 speakers that do work if I unplug my mic from the pc it makes a suicidal hissing sound.

What the hell is that? Can it be the onboard sound card is finished and I have to actually buy a sound card now?

thats what i think new sound card but i suggest you call the technician again see if he can help (again)

It might be worth trying to re-download the drivers from the manufacturer site, and if you cant find them, tell me what they are. I got a special subscription to something called DriverFindNow, and I'd be happy to do it for you.
