Hey, I ahve a powermac g5 2.0 and have noticed that it is getting pretty hot. I dont have a thermometer to tell me, but its giving off enough heat to make my room kind of hot. I have no experience in cooling systems, and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions. What should I add and would I beable to install it my self. Any help is appreciated.

thanx

I dont know anything about Mac PCs but I think you should add a fan or two in the case, or you can do some case modding like I did.

macs have no onboard temp diodes? Uh,i highly doubt they'll be a place for you to add a fan on a mac, you might be able to buy a higher rpm fan (again, i dont know much about macs, im going of PC bases here), which woulld move more air in your computer, but also would be louder.

What type of G5? the regular dual core with a normal amount of RAM, or the Quad with the insane amount? i would check inside your case to make sure all of your fans are spinning.
