Popping noise

Recently my Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop started making a clicking/popping sound. It is a very faint sound and there is no obvious flicker in the monitor, or change in the operation of anything. It happens a few times a minute. To me it sounds kind of like a breaker that is resetting itself? Could anyone help me?
 
Open the case and see of the noise is coming from the hard drive. If it is then back up your data and get a new drive.
 
Well unfortunately I had to work yesterday and today so didn't get to see them that much. My daughter had an attitude this weekend for some reason. Thanks for caring though.
 
Those women do get an attitude once in a while. My children are what make my life worth living. Send her a card and tell her how much you love her. She'll like that.
