Please Help

My program files folder is linked to the desktop. All the files from the Program Files Folder are showing on the desktop. I don't have a desktop folder in my documents anymore. Does anyone know how I can stop the program files folder from linking to my desktop because it's doing my nut in. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about here.

Are you talking about when you save a program file to your computer and the "Save to" line says desktop? If that's the case, it should allow you to have a drop down menu to save it to some other place. If that's not what you're talking about, I'll need some more information - because I don't know what you're talking about.
