Please help Xp acting up again!! Idont know what to do!!

Ok well i have been having this problem with installing stuff onto my computer lately and it has to do with NSIS. I have been looking everywhere how to fix it and nothing has work to fix it. so i wouldnt bother sending me those numerous e how links.. im at the end of my rope and dont know what to do. but heres the error i get, like i said before i cant install almost ANYTHING, and downloading stuff, forgettabout it, they almost never dl correctly so i come here to get help. thanks, the picbelow is the error im getting

What about doing a system restore back to a day where it was working fine? How long as it been doing this?

Its been doing it for a while, I just got this tower running again as I am on vaca now at my beach house, so i havent used it for a while.. But I have already formatted the WHOLE disk and tried again, and stil its doing it :(
 
If its doing this right after a fresh install then its got to be software related. Do you get this error right after installing windows and trying to install the first program on the machine? If so, maybe you got a bad install for some reason.

I have to ask but is this a genuine windows XP install? and not a bootlegged/pirated version?

No man its a genuine XP that came with my desktop, i think your right its a bad os.. =-/
 
it seems like it happens everytime i use winrar to dl something, but still theres other errors on stuff i dl, for say last night i dl'ed Skype and a dialog came up saying " Error: Unfortunetly the Skype executable is corrupted. Please Re-install"

Man this is strange, ive encourted similar stuff in vista but not in XP

I have installed xp at work on someones computer and I will get dual copies of windows or files or corrupted... I just used a different disk
 
maybe someone ould find a /WINDOWS file or sys32 file that would solve the problem?? i really need to fix this problem =-/
 
ok well this isticking me off, i will sometimes get a succsessful program launchwhen i first install, UNTIL the next boot up then its missing files, and such or theymay be corrupt, im just trying to give you guys clueshow to get closer to solving this
