Plasma tv resolution question

Hopefully someone knows a little something about this.

On a 50" plasma 1080p tv is there any noticable difference between 1366x768 and 1920x1080? The question might be a little broad but thats what happens when your not smart enough to know what to ask;)

There's a difference. 720p is lower resolution than 1080p. My friends plasma is 50" 720p, and my 52" LCD is 1080p, when playing the same game with Xbox 360 on both TVs, the game just looks better on my TV.

1366*768=1049088
1920*1080=2073600

1080p is roughly twice the resoloution of 720p, you input 720p to 1080p source, it has to scale it(eg- double up on pixels), and will look alot less sharp/clear.
