Picking Sound Card

Hi, as of now ive never used a seperate sound card..aside from my integrated one. I have finally decided to purchase a Creative Labs one but will only do so if the price is right (Less the $75) and if it improves my FPS in games. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or if i sound stick with my onboard sound card.

The creative labs audigy 2 ZS is around $80 and is a great card. Unfortunately you missed a $40 rebate on zipzoomfly.com for it as it ran out yesterday, maybe look around and see if any other retailers have a sale on it. I don't see it helping your FPS much though, all it would do is take a little work off the cpu.
