Alright, this should be fairly simple. The photo has to be a mistake, a shot that you didn't plan on taking, or somewhere along the lines of that.

Rules:
Playing this tournament is simple:

A tournament involves 11 different members max.
The winner of the last tournament will give a theme, and those who want to participate will post their pictures (Only one per person). Please, No more than eleven participants total.

When all participants have entered their picture in the tournament (please submit a link along with your picture), I will then create another thread to vote on the pictures via a poll. Located in the Off Topic sub forum.

New Rules:
- No spot saving; you will only be counted if you have a picture submitted.
- Only one picture may be posted at a time, if you decide to change it, please edit the original post.
- No posting an image that has previously won a competition.

So in brief:
- Users who wish to participate please post your image within this thread followed by a link to the image source.
- After eleven participants have entered the tournament, a second thread will be made with a poll to vote on the pictures.
- If entering a slightly computer manipulated photo, please post the original along with it so users who are voting can see the difference.

Winners will simply be the one who gets the most votes. He/she will then create another thread in which they propose a different theme for the next tournament.

Please resize your pictures to no larger than 1280 x 1024.
This tournament will have 4 days of voting.

You are permitted to change your image but if you could just change the URL in your original post and leave an edited comment with it.

Enjoy

I think this one picture I forgot to pop up the flash looks cooler than any of the ones I took with the flash, lol. This was one hell of a tough subject to choose for btw.

Let me elaborate a tad bit more.
I was thinking more along the lines of speedyink & Calibretto. Situations where you meant to do one thing and ended up doing the other type deal.

MB, yours strikes me more as bad timing more then a mistake on the photographers part. Since the rest of your shot is overall good, tech wise etc.
Same deal with Irish and Glliw for me. I'm looking more for the "intent" behind it. If it gets to hard to find something I'll loosen it up though.

Thanks

Problem is, I haven't made mistakes like that in the past (unless you mean mistakes that look bad, I've got plenty of those), and I certainly can't try to for the contest... :P

But if that's how you want it you can kick mine out.

I don't see how a vague topic is a problem... You should have many pictures that would fit in this topic if it's vague...

The issue IMO is that people definition of a "mistake" vary greatly. Someone may think a mistake might me when the shutter was pressed accidentally, some people say a mistake is when they use the wrong settings in the camera, or when the photo just wasn't taking at the right moment. Point is it's hard to vote between a blurry landscape and candles that are in sepia.
