Hi every body.
This is my problem. I want to make home network, something easy. My desk comp hes two network cards, one for enternet connection, the other to connect to laptop (dell inspiron 1100). i bought a pcmcia card for laptop, becouse my onboard card has bad connectivity. I had to play with cable all the time to have a connection.
Ok, my cable is fine becouse two computers can be connected through laptop on board card (if i play with cable). but when i try to connect through pcmcia there is no link (lights on cards) abd windows says "cable is unplugged". i tryied to reinstall drivers, to pull out my card from desk comp and put it in another slot. i think my network settings are good couse with bad card on laptop every thing works. what can be the problem????? please help me solve this one.
