pci sound cards

do they make sound cards that have like a 50 watt amp built in so you can connect speaker boxes and stuff kinda like a car amp?

PCI slots only put out 3.3v and 5v, so don't expect too much from that. Plus have you seen the size of a 50w amp? If anything, it'd be like a large video card, probably a double slot card.

Find yourself a good card, preferably one without any amplification on it and output to some amplifier. That or use one of the digital outs to an external amp.

well my on board has hd audio so i dont need a sound card but it was just a thought

Such a misnomer...onboard audio is generally pretty poor.

Get a decent amplifier or receiver if you want to drive some speakers.

its only 10 watts to. you need power speakers not a amp.
