PCI slots only put out 3.3v and 5v, so don't expect too much from that. Plus have you seen the size of a 50w amp? If anything, it'd be like a large video card, probably a double slot card.
Find yourself a good card, preferably one without any amplification on it and output to some amplifier. That or use one of the digital outs to an external amp.
