Hi there guys! Im new, so i just wanted to say that i look forward to parttaking in your community.
I wanted to start of with a problem of mine, which has bothered me for a while now. It occurs when I watch some videos on the internet (for example when watching on Spike.com) aswell as in some games (Star Wars : Knights of the old republic) and I have no idea why.
The problem is that my computer starts to beep and make alot of annoying sounds, kind of like the modems did back in the day when connecting.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
PS. I dont know if i posted in the right place, but i figured it was soundrelated.

By the way I have disabled BEEP in Regedit and Device Manager.

My guess is it's motherboard related, not sound... Many motherboards today have features that alert you if your temps are getting too high or voltages aren't within a specified threshold. If you know your motherboard's make, I'd look to see if the manufacturer has any type of software avaliable to check the voltages and such. If you don't know, you could either use a program such as CPUz to find it out, or a program such as PC Wizard will typically tell you what your temps and voltages are (though it's not always spot on...)

if you are having problems, then tell us what the beep code is (e.g. 1 long, 2 short etc), else if you are just annoyed with the motherboard beeps, disconnect the speaker.

:)
