Does the power led for a pc run on a 12v line?

Also does anyone know a good place to find switches and buttons and things? I'm working on my cockpit and want to find the illuminated buttons and toggle switches you would find in a real cockpit but all the sites I've found are for bulk buyers.
 
Well I was looking at connecting a 12v led indicator light as the pc power light. Anyway to do that? Perhaps running the light directly from the power switch instead of through the board?
