PC injuries

Just wondering if any of you have ever been injured working on a PC.

I've had the usual scratches. I've also had a serious injury that took place in a work shop at a company I worked for. A shelf that was holding a computer with an open case collapsed, I turned and tried to catch the thing and jammed a finger on a sharp edge. The case nearly cut the tip of my finger off. At the hospital I ended up getting seven stitches to reattach a piece on the left side of the finger.

Yowza.

Aside from a couple minorly sliced hands from cheap cases and inexperience, certainly nothing that drastic lol

Sliced my finger open pretty bad pulling out expansion slot and front bay blanks.

hangnail from prying my 860K off it's original heatsink..

luckily no cuts from cases for the 3 I've built.

A couple cuts is about it. Called a bunch pretty vulgar names for other reasons. Usually after you threaten one with a screw driver or a swift kick and be thrown out the front door, they start cooperating. Its best when you get your parts, sit them in the floor in front of you. Have a heart to heart talk about how this is going to go. Works for me.

Always a good idea to heat up the cpu (by running the machine for 10 minute). The heat sink will then come straight off.
