PC gets stuck before boot menu

Hi

I have a pc with windows 7
I was editing movies
suddenly the program crashes. taken my my windows 7 with it
I restart my pc and all i see is the intel logo before the boot menu. And it is stuck.

can anyone help me?

Give use some more info about your computer, but from the sound of it it's probably your PSU going out.

PSU could be. But it just boots and stay stationairy

Ok! After cleaning the interior it get stuck at the windows logo

So i can enter the boot menu

Try swapping PSUs and see if that does it. Check your motherboard for broken, blown, or bulged capacitors as well.

PSU is the power''module'' right??

Ok. i reboot it and it workes now for a few minuits

I dont have wireless internet anymore
and it gets stuck after a few minuits

Still most likely your power supply. Testing it by using a different one is the only way to tell.

Could still be a bad motherboard, but it's more than likely the PSU.
Read this and look at the pics then look over your motherboard for bad capacitors.

Bulged capacitors aren't as noticeable as they look in the pictures though. You can feel the tops of them though and it's pretty obvious if one is bulged.

Theres no way to narrow it past those 2 without doing the above. You're not getting enough power and it could be due to either. Most the time it's the PSU, especially if your computer was prebuilt because they tend to use cheaper power supplies.
