Pc Gaming to Console

So im just curious.....has anyone in here that was a PC gamer ditched PC gaming altogether and gone console gaming?

What was the experience like for you?

I've been thinking about this for a while,and just using an older C2D system for basic Internet/music use which i already have sitting in my wardrobe.

Yeah PC gaming is good,But i just really really miss the old days where you can pop in the disk and play.....no install,no patching,no serial/activation problems etc...no fuss!

Plus i spend way way too much of my free time when im not at work sitting at this damn pc,It makes me tired and my eyes dry :D

It will be intresting to see what people say :)
 
Nah I went from Console to PC and enjoyed it far more. Though I wont lie originally when I was 12 on my first "gaming" pc the greatness behind PC was downloading all my games :P
Though once I got a job and started to pay for the games I find myself not gaming on PC or console anymore per say but playing old SNES/NES games (via rom and emulation which I own the games/systems for) a few games per year I buy but over all gaming has lost its "yay" factor so I either borrow games from friends or just live without the newest "graphic orgasm" game.

What is sad is I prefer to go outside and do yard work more then go play on my computer. I get more satisfaction from that then I get enjoyment killing zombies in L4D or killing Diablo.

If I had to go back to console though id go PS3....regardless of the kitty console war bs Sony produces the best RPG games which I enjoy more as I like offline casual games. 360 is more FPS based + I hate MS almost as much as Apple.
One thing that does keep me busy when I am on the PC though is those stupid flash games over @ Kongregate.
 
same. consoles have some exclusives that I want and like but gaming has always been better on the pc I have found. I made the switch!
