PayPal Question- Emergency

Hey everyone. This is sort of an emergency so I'll make this quick. I received emails from paypal (1-2 a week possibly). The header is "Dear client" and then in the body paragraph it says (briefly explaining):

Dear PayPaI customer,

We have recently determined that different computers have logged onto your online account,
and multiple password failures were present before the login.
It is now necessary to re-confirm your account information to us.

I don't know if this is legit or a scam to actually phish out my password. The reason I think this is because when I noticed the Dear part: Dear PayPaI customer, In paypal, there is an "I" instead of "L" so i don't know if this is legit. Help me please?

UPDATE:
I just went onto my account and everything seems fine. i don't seem to have any alerts on my account so still no idea. I'm going to try and search a little on it.

THAT IS A SCAM, DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

it will redirect you to a paypal look-alike and steal your password. if you feel someone has you password, go to the REAL paypal site and change it. paypals term of service say that they will NEVER ask you for your password.

Ok, thanks dude. I clicked on it to see where it redirects me and thanks to AVG and you it said that it was a phishing website so I just deleted all the emails. That takes a load off my back.

If it includes a link then it is likely a scam as from what i know PayPal will tell you to go to paypal.com yourself instead of giving you a hyperlink to click.

Any type of email like that is a scam.

If its a scam or not you can simply log into your paypal account just like you would any other day.

Paypal.com and then logging in.
If there was a problem you would be promptly notified as soon as you log in.

NEVER click on any links that are sent to your e-mail regarding paypal info or any paypal problems.

If there is ever a problem you were be notified as soon as you login to your paypal account without clicking any links that were sent to you via e-mail.
