how much could i get if i part out my system. like sell everything but my hs, gpu, psu, hd. so that leaves my cpu, ram, mobo.

I think you'd be doing good to get $150 for that platform as a whole or parts.. A new(er) am3+ platfrom base unit ,everything but gpu/os but including x4 and a case, could be about $350 - 375. So parting it out seems best.

I'd sell the video card seperate for $70ish, then the rest of the system would get you $200 range on the forums maybe $250 on craigslist.

i wana keep my card for an upgrade i has to be part out ill prolly try cl, i dougt anyone on here wants this stuff lol

SO it sounds like you just want to sell the board, cpu, and ram for upgrades right? You could probably sell those in a combo for $110 shipped or so...the board and ram aren't worth much, cpu is worth like $60-70ish.

If your CPU unlocks to Phenom II, you probably won't notice much at all with any upgrade unless you go to like an Intel I5 2500K.

You should probably keep your current CPU for now and get a new AM3+ board and DDR3 ram. You could sell your current board and ram together for maybe $50+ shipping.

Does your case only accept micro ATX boards or will it do full ATX?

i want a BE cpu cuz my hs is a beast and i would like to oc.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to ship it, but it comes with the HSF. (the TIM on the is scratched into a neat design hahaha). How about...$100 shipped? If not, PM me a price you can work with.

Well, your ''upgrade'' will only have better clockspeed, no architectural differences so you probably won't even notice much if any difference with this upgrade.

But having said that, I do have a few thoughts and suggestions for you.

First, make sure you get a 900 series chipset to get the latest technology. No sense in buying a new board and only 800 series. But once again, you linked to a Micro ATX board so I must assume thats all your case can handle? You really should get a case that can do full ATX as it really opens your options up.

Since you are keeping your 5750 there's no need for onboard graphics, and no 900 series chipset boards have it anyway.

Again that is a Full ATX board, so if your case can't support it get another!

Next the CPU-

The 960t is a 1090t with 2 cores disabled. You *might* be able to unlock this CPU into a hex core, but even if not you have 4 thuban cores instead of deneb. Typically they overclock better and the memory controller is stronger on thuban chips. Also sometimes only 1 core is bad so you could atleast come out with a 5 core chip.

Lastly, the ram you picked it OK but for only $3 more you can have 1600mhz ram instead of 1333-

So that grand total is like $270 or so, only a few bucks more than what you chose BUT you have the latest tech board, a chance to unlock to a 6 core CPU, and faster ram.
