Someone to come to your home and diagnose a problem with your PC?

Repair basic software/registry/operating system functionality?

Repair/replace hardware? (Price not including new hardware)

Build a website on a free host for you?


I am looking to do some part-time computer work and I don't want to over/under charge too much. Anyone give me some details or advice?

hmm well just to diagnose the problem...i say $10-$15

Depending on how much they want doing...not sure on that one.

You might want to make it clear that....No fix...no fee,Just to make your customers more confident in you alot of people say that.

Im not sure on how much things cost over in the Us,So ive done the prices on what i think they would be charged for over in the Uk and then just converted them so my prices may be a little high or maybe even low.

Thanks Nevakonaza. I agree with the whole No fix, No fee. I think it's crap to have someone tell you what's wrong and pay them when they can't fix it. I can find a solution for about every general computer problem though so as long as it isn't an advanced problem, I should be alright. And $45-50 to fix your current computer is better than retailling a $500-600 system.
