Which graphics program do you like/use the most? i've been using PSP for awhile now, but is Adobe's better?

I hate Paint Shop Pro with a vengence! I have to use it in college and I can't stand the crappy interface and it doesn't make it easy to use!

I use Fireworks 8 where-ever I can :P
Although Photoshop is good, I can get the same results with Fireworks despite it being a vector based image editing program :D

I've been using Paint Shop Pro version 5 (yes, 5) for a few years. So far so good... but then, having paid only $5 for it second-hand, I'm biased.

hehe, of course Photoshop,
is much better and it comes from the adobe family so other products of adobe are able to connect to each other easily, they can import each other formats and compositions.
for example, adobe aftereffects supports very good the psd files and can recognize the layers and..

there are more plugins for photoshop than paint shop pro,
many users
many online tutorials

Yeah we bought Paint Shop (I don't remember what version) quite a few years back at a garage sale for $3 :D, so I used that for several years then tried Photo Shop elements 2 and found it scary so I stuck with Paint Shop but then tried Photo Shop again and liked it so now I'm using Photo Shop Elements 4. :D

both are good programs but i found paintshop easier to use... photoshop is prolly better if u learn how to use it correctly but then again that is the same with everything else you try to learn.

I have both and with the right plug ins both can do about the same thing, I found Paint Shop is alittle easier to learn but it could of been because I used it first:D

I've used Paintshop Pro for years now. Currently use Paintshop Pro XI in my photography workflow and I like it. I've used both programs and you'll find they both have the same capabilities with Paintshop offering more graphic/vector options. It's hard to justify the price of Photoshop, when you can get a program thats does many of the same things at a fraction of the cost.
I will say this tho, PSP 11 has not been without flaws (recently updated), When I had version 8, 9, and 10, I never had an issue.

good luck

if your not in the field of graphic design and don't really know what your talking about then there is no point in voting and for this poll! but imo its ps all the way but then it depends on what you want to do.

i generally do simple photoediting, school based stuff (banners, i made the mascot, and webpage designing) so what'd be better, i have psp 7 and photoshop 7 or 8... what'd u think i should be using, im pretty good with psp, but i still cant decide
