How many of you guys and gals have a degree and certifications in the IT field? Im currently working on my degree. As long as i been messing with cpus (when my dad got me a Tandy 1000) might as well get BA.

guess next time i should type out computer. Anyway, how long did it take to get your certifications or degree?
 
^ A Bachelor's is typically 4-5 years, an associate's 2 years, and a technical degree 1-2 years. It varies, though.
 
I don't have a degree in IT, but i do have an AA in computer science that I got from the local junior college. It took me about 3 years to complete because I was taking classes while in high school. I basically got my high school diploma and AA within one semester :P
 
well, to get a certification, such as A+, you just have to pay to take the test and pass it. im still waiting on funds to allow me to take my A+ cert test and my microsoft cert test :/
 
I have an AA in Network Administration and another in Network Security. I'm going to get some certs after the beginning of the year.
