OS Compatibility

I've got a linux box, but I want to be able to plug-and-play my digital camera on a Windows XP. Anyone have a good virtualization solution to create a VM on my comp? VMware? Parallels? Xen? Suggestions?
 
From reputation standpoint, VMware is supposed to be the best. (I don't know from personal experience, but that's the scuttlebutt :))
 
I haven't tried any :), but what I meant by "reputation" is that I consulted with some friends that have used these programs, and they recommended VMware.
