Onlive + What exactly is "internet connection speed"?

What exactly is internet connection speed? Internet speed tests available online gives numbers for ping, download speed and upload speed. Is your "Internet connection speed" your dl speed?

On a different note, has anyone tried onlive yet? I tried Onlive today on my very low powered netbook and was rather impressed by the results. Exciting times we live in.

just how fast you can download, but doesn't mean if you get a 21mb download from speedtest.net or similar you will be getting close to that, i get about 21+ and steam gets 1.5+mb/s, but that's artially there servers with how many people are online.

hm how did you test your internet connection in relation to onlive? I looked through the menus hoping to find something like that but couldnt find it.
