Move to another spot if needed..
So this has happened for quite some time, but I never really cared that much as it wasn't hard to work around - I'll flip on my tower in the morning and go to, say..youtube..or to watch a trailer on steam.. or even my own files sitting in my music folders and there is no sound.
I check to make sure there is no X on the player or program I'm using, as well as that I haven't inadvertently X'ed out my sound bar at bottom.. but nothing makes the sound come though.
I've checked to make sure it hasn't defaulted to some other source, and in my case it's super simple.. I'm not using external speaker - simply the built in ones on the monitor, as I essentially listen to stuff in the AM, and then my stereo or whatever the rest of the day.
My workaround has been to simply sign out of windows 10--back in and the issue is gone! So it hasn't been a hassle to do this, but it strikes me as dumb and I am thinking about it now.
Any ideas folks, why is this happening? Probably a super simple fix but google has failed me and I can't find a solution that is probably right under my nose.
