On-board Realtek

My on-board Realtek on my 750i keeps messing up. The audio doesn't play, but when I go into the Realtek program, and enable Speaker Fill, the audio plays. Then sometimes it'll act normal and play on all speakers. I've tried reinstalled, trying later and current drivers.

Any ideas?

Go to the Start > Run > Regedit > OK
Expand [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet001\Enum]
Locate and highlight the folder "HDAUDIO" by clicking on it
Go to File Export and save the HDAUDIO registry as a backup
Delete the registry folder "HDAUDIO (Note: you may need to change 'Permissions' to allow yourself)

Restart
Message will appear on start up that you have a missing driver.
Ignore this message and Install the latest driver

I ended up running into a permission issue. I tried fixing it, but couldn't get around it. I even tried installing SubinACL from Microsoft and creating a .bat file with some code in it I found off a site while searching for this.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

So you haven't been able to do what I suggested ?
You need to allow "everyone" access before removing the key

Also you may need to manually install the driver in Safe Mode, by going to Device Manager
Start > Run > devmgmt.msc
Locate your Audio device, expand it by clicking on the + sign
Right click on your expanded audio device and select update driver
Manually point it to your updated (extracted) driver
Install the driver
Restart to Normal mode
