On An iTunes Extra Playlist, Can I Number The Songs?

Hello everyone!

On my iTunes I used one of my extra playlists to create a list of Christmas songs. But, it is hard to find where I left off every day. So is it possible to number the songs so it is easier to find the last song I played?

Last I used iTunes, there were numbers in the playlist. I am guessing that you are using the new view, so maybe this will help:

Select the Playlist in question and on the top bar menu click on View / View As / Songs.

This should show the numbering on the left. This will also assume you are not shuffling.

Hi Couriant, and thank you for the help!

No, my Christmas playlist is not in "shuffle" mode but I have moved the songs around so the list flows better IMO. I have 4,000+ songs and on my regular list they are not numbered either. However, I normally play my main music playlist in alphabetical order so numbering is not necessary.

I will look into what you advise and then get back to you. It probably won't be today since I am going offline shortly, but I will try tomorrow. Thanks again!

Thanks, I think that worked. I had had "View List" on "Playlist" instead of "Songs", and when I changed it there were numbers on the left side of my Christmas playlist.
