Sheesh i was crapping myself then! Right i was just removing my heatsinks off my motherboard to replace the stock TIM and bloody hell that was hard to get off! No wonder my north bridge was running so hot! It was like a sticker with thick glue on it, it was horrible. Anyway i manage to get it off (After 45 mins with scraping of my nail.) So i decide to use some methanol to clean all the rest off and yer it worked but as i looked away i didnt realise a bottle of methanol was pouring on my motherboard (I was to focused on my heatsink to realise) then i turn back round to get my TIM and my face just went :O! :l *silence* WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K!! My mum came runnign in and went "What's up!?" I just looked at her and pointed she laughed :l right getting to the point anyway i tried to dry all the substance off plugged everything back in, switched on, -no response- at this point my eyes were watering HA so then i tried again and IT BOOTED! YAY wow you should of seen it though it was like a puddle of methanol on my motherboard i got so scared
One good thing came out of it though my temps have gotten so low!
CPU - 26 Degrees (Was 35)
Mobo - 20 Degrees (Was 23)
NorthBridge - 27 Degrees (Was 37)
SouthBridge - 28 Degrees (Was 32)
GPU - 45 Degrees (Was 50)
This is as we speak by the way and the computer has been running say 40 Mins?
Lesson of the day - FOCUS ON WHAT YOUR DOING!
