Old Minolta

I have an older Minolta camera, that has the changeable lenses and reel film.
I owned it years ago, and we were driving, and it was in its case, and like a mirror piece popped out. Though, now, I am looking at it, and I see a mirror piece. It turns on and everything, just needs film to see if it works.

How can I see if it will actually work, just get film, and get it developed?

Thanks.

Well, I am getting the film developed now, but the view finder was what was messed up, it made the pictures round. Now, I dont know if my pictures will come out like that, but is the view finder fixable?

I'll be getting the pictures in a half an hour.

Thanks.

Pictures came out great.

The view finder is a bit messed up, makes the picture look round. Camera guy said I should bring it in, and they said they can fix it.

I used to work for a camera shop, only do this is a last minute option! They will charge you an arm and a leg for something you could probably do yourself. Do some research and if you find out its unfixable, take it in. Did they give you a price quote?

Well the night pictures came out bad, the day picture came out fine.

Its really dark, static lines going vertically, looks wavy.

Can I find a digital camera with changeable lenses for a decent price? For getting back into photography? And can my lenses work with it?

Thanks.

i will see what i can find on minolta for you but now that its konica-minolta not minolta so its prooving difficult but i have a konica-minolta dealer by collage so i might pop in and see what they say
