OK guys I have a 4-5 year old comp. with the following specs.
Intel board D865PERL
3.00 Ghz
P4
1 GB Ram
XP SP3
Nvidia GEFORCE 6600
120 GB HD
My question is, I built a new comp. last year thanks to you guys. And now I'm building an i7. I just transfered my files to and external HD and want to give my daughter and son n law a comp. to search the internet on. My question is should I just delete all the old files and crap on the HD or do a fresh install. This thing works great and can play basic games like CS, WOW, L4D not at high settings, but it works. My only issue is that this thing is slow and has way to much crap on it. What do you guys think.... I'm leaning toward a fresh install, I'd have to find an XP disk in the garage somewhere... HEHE
