i have a pair of the bose earbuds, for the office, and when i have the sounds all the way down i can hear sounds from the computer, like...
when i use the scroll wheel on the mouse i can hear a squeaking sound.
when moving windows around, there is a slight creaking.
when im listening to people speak (talkshows/online videos) its like i can hear a low level muffled echo @ about 10-20% of the actual volume.

and i have the latest Audio drivers.

My guitar amplifier (small Marshall) used to pick up on the mouse's scroll wheel all the time when I used it. I'm really not sure how to fix it, probably something to do with frequency. I'd love to find out the cause of it though, it's interesting stuff.

As for the low-muffled echo, perhaps it's the quality of your earbuds? Try using a headset and see if you experience similar problems maybe?

Hey mate, it happens to almost all computers that have on-board audio, you only really notice it when you're wearing the headphones or you have your speakers turned up really loud. I don't really know what it is maybe just interference from the mobo? To get rid of it you could buy a dedicated soundcard; worked great for me.

Yep. A dedicated sound card will get rid of the problem.
Personal opinion: I would have bought Shure's E series earbuds (Bose is bad).

as far as the freq. it is a wired mouse. but who knows. i'll have to look into the sound card. its a work pc. but it might get annoying enough to do it. thanks guys.
