Noisy PSU.... Need a remedy.

Hi all,
When my Akasa PowerPlus 650W PSU starts to come under load, it gets very noisy, due to the Sanyo Denki 80mm fan on the back.

Changing the fan is not an option because

1. The fan is soldered onto the PCB
2. The fan has to be very high perfomance, this beast of a PSU gets hot, so the fan has to stay

Anyway, would something like this work:

Vantec PSU Vibration Dampener Kit

I can get one for the 80mm fan too.

Is there any other PSU quietening (sp?) mods out there?

i would buy a new high performance fan and resolder it... its not hard to do... you just gotta be careful of capacitors as they tend to hold their charge
