No sound?

I also have no sound now. My comp now works and mantains a less scary temperature of about 44C. The one problem I have right now is that I dont have any sound. I have to of my stereo speakers hooked up to the back of my MOBO ( http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128012 ) I had sound before but then it just doesnt work.

did you uninstall the drivers? try reinstalling them whether u did or didnt, might be a quick fix

I reinstalled the only Drive for sound that my MOBO cd came with and no sound still.

Try downloading new drivers, from the manufacturer's web site

have you check the front panel audio jumpers to make sure that your internal sounds card isnt piping sound to the front panel connectors

Well my front panel audio worked before I reinstalled Windows Media Center. I also had paint and some other stuff, now I dont have Windows Games, Paint, Windows Dancer , and SOUND!!

Should I try by reinstalling Windows ???

or what drivers do you recommend?

After 60 views and 3 replies I have done it.

Well last night I reinstalled Windows. Now I have Paint and sound.

I found out after installing Windows that it was windows and my speakers. They are not for computers Now I need speakers

Should I get 7.1 Surround Sound
or
5.1 Surround Sound

As far as I know my MOBO supports both which is great
