no sound?

my computer returned from the repair and when i plugged the speakers in, there was no sound.
in volume control everything was maxed and not muted.
what might be the problem?

never mind, i fixed it myself.
i looked at the audio propertis and there was some kind of polderbits audio device or driver so i changed it to the other one so it worked.
